Hello.
AI has an ability to save a selection of objects with Select > Save Selection to work with later. I want to do something similar in plug-in - take an array of Art objects as input and save them as a new selection. However I have not been able to find means of doing it. Is it possible to do something similar with hotdoor? If not is it possible to achieve using AI sdk?

We don't offer this functionality directly in hdi_core, and I'm actually unsure whether the native Ai SDK does either (never had to use it before).

Worst case, you should be able to manually save the selection state of all art objects from the artwork tree (in some sort of tree structure you define/create yourself) in a document dictionary. Then it's just a matter of "replaying" the selection state from your saved structure.
