Problem: Illustrator does not remember "Recent Files" saved, nor current workspace if changed. Previous recent files remain in the Open Recent Files menu.
Scope: Applies only to CORE 0.8.2, only on Windows, all AI versions. The same code runs fine on macOS with CORE 0.8.2, or on Windows when compiled with CORE 0.8.1.
Out of 15 plugins, only two are affected, so I've been searching for things that are different in them. So far, all I've found is that they have an IsolationModeChanged notifier. Is there any way isolation mode could affect AI remembering saved docs and workspaces, and only in Windows?
Is there anything else I can look for that may be even remotely related to recent docs and workspaces?

As long as a webView exists in a panel, AI for Windows will not save these settings. I have filed a bug report.
UPDATE: The bug now affects Mac AI 28.1 (did not affect 28.0).
