using BuiltinTool class
One of my plugins offers alternative "power-tool" versions of a built-in tool. I was happy to see that the BuiltinTool class offered a means of switching the user over to a built-in tool, which I thought would be a polite thing do when the trial period expires than to just leave my tools inoperable and make the user take the extra steps to select the Adobe tool.

I'd greatly appreciate a snippet of sample code to demonstrate the correct syntax to access and select a built-in tool. Also, can the class be created and destroyed within a few consecutive lines, rather than having bits scattered about in the startup and shutdown events?

I'm sorry if my posts are unnecessary long. I enjoy sharing and inviting ideas on development approaches and especially user interface and interaction. -- Rick
